Welcome to the "Value of Positive Practice"

Each month, we share insights about industry trends, best practices, resources for building a sustainable business, and opportunities to enrol in programmes to support your next STEPS towards your goals.

Personal Note from Rachel

 Greetings,

As June comes to a close, we reach a natural pause point — a time to take stock, look back, and reconnect with what matters most.

Summer brings full bloom in nature. However, growth doesn’t always look tidy in life and leadership. Sometimes, we’re thriving. Other times, progress is hidden, messy, or just beginning to stir.

Here’s your invitation to reflect:

🌻 Where are you seeing signs of growth?

🌻 Where might something still be germinating?

🌻 What might need to be pruned, composted, or dug up — to make space for what wants to flourish next?

🌿 Mid-Year Moments: A Time to Reconnect

  • Halfway through the year, many leaders feel the tension between where they hoped to be and where they are now.

Some feel energised. Others are a little weary. Most feel a mix of both.

✨ This is your permission slip to pause.
Not from pressure, but from presence.

    Ask yourself:

    • What values have guided my decisions this year to date?
    • Where have I stretched — and where have I stalled?
    • What fears — spoken or silent — may have been holding me back or keeping me playing small?
    • What support would help me take the next courageous step?

Whether you completed the Wheel of Life or Year in Review in December or in March, or not, this is a perfect time to (re)visit it with fresh eyes. I’ll be doing the same, marking the end of the first half of 2025.

🌱 Your Leadership, Your Way

Throughout Q2, our community explored how trust, safety, and mindset shape everything — from coaching conversations to patient care to organisational culture.

Here’s a quick recap:

  • April: Embodied Coaching Mindset – Curiosity, regulation, and reflective practice
  • May: Establishing and Maintaining Agreements – Clarity, alignment, and shared responsibility
  • June: Cultivating Trust and Safety – Empathy, openness, and psychological safety in action

These aren’t just concepts—they’re daily leadership practices, especially in healthcare contexts like pharmacy, where time, pressure, and complexity are high.

🌀 Where might coaching help you turn insight into action?

💬 A Gentle Nudge (If You Need It)

If this season feels unclear or overwhelming, know you don’t have to navigate it alone.

Coaching offers structure, insight, and support, whether you’re leading through change, supporting your team, or needing space to think aloud.

Here’s how we can work together:

📌 Reflecting on Progress: A Mid-Year Review

Mid-year is a powerful time to pause and check in not just on outcomes but also on how you're progressing, who you're becoming, and what you're learning.

Here are some areas to explore as you reflect more deeply on Q2:

🔭 Vision and Direction

Go back to the goals or intentions you set at the beginning of the year. Do they still resonate? Sometimes our vision evolves as we gain clarity, shift priorities, or encounter new opportunities.

  • Is my path still meaningful and aligned with who I want to be?
  • What has become more critical since January?
  • Where might I need to course-correct, recommit, or completely reimagine?

🏆 Milestones and Wins

Recognising progress, no matter how small, builds momentum. Often, we move the goalpost without pausing to celebrate how far we’ve come.

  • What are some tangible achievements from the past few months?
  • What “invisible wins” deserve acknowledgement — emotional growth, courage, consistency?
  • What feedback or outcomes have affirmed I’m on the right track?

🧩 Challenges and Lessons

Not everything goes according to plan, and that’s okay. The most valuable insights often come from what challenges or surprises us.

  • Where did I feel stuck, stretched, or off-balance?
  • How did I respond to pressure, setbacks, or unexpected change?
  • What did those experiences teach me about my values, boundaries, or beliefs?

🧱 Habits and Systems

The way we structure our time, energy, and environment shapes how we show up. Mid-year is a great time to reevaluate what’s working and what needs to be let go.

  • Which routines have supported my focus, well-being, and leadership presence?
  • Where have I slipped into autopilot or over-functioning?
  • What new systems might help me lead more sustainably?

📚 Learning and Growth

Personal and professional growth isn't always visible, but it’s often where the fundamental transformation happens.

  • What skills, mindsets, or insights have I developed this quarter?
  • What feedback have I received — and how have I responded to it?
  • Where have I challenged myself to stretch, speak up, or do things differently?

⚡ Energy and Wellbeing

You can’t pour from an empty cup. How you manage your energy is just as important as managing your time.

  • Have I felt energised or depleted most days?
  • What practices have helped me recharge and reset?
  • What change could I make to protect my energy in Q3 better?

🤝 Relationships and Support

Progress rarely happens in isolation. The quality of your relationships can accelerate — or stall — your growth.

  • Who has been in my corner this quarter?
  • What relationships have grown stronger — and why?
  • What relationships might be struggling and in need of repair or healing?
  • Where might I benefit from asking for more support or building new connections?

🎯 Alignment and Fulfilment

When you’re in alignment, things may still feel challenging, but they feel meaningful. When you’re not, even success can feel hollow.

  • Have my actions reflected my deepest values?
  • What moments felt most energising or purposeful?
  • What’s feeling out of sync — and how might I respond to that?

🧠 Resilience and Mindset

Every quarter comes with its own set of challenges. How you relate to those challenges is a reflection of your growth.

  • How did I meet moments of change or uncertainty?
  • What stories or beliefs supported me, and which ones held me back?
  • What mindset shift could serve me going forward?

🚀 Looking Ahead

Reflection is most powerful when it leads to action. Based on what’s surfaced, what do you want to carry into the next quarter — and what will you leave behind?

  • What do I want to continue, stop, or start in Q3?
  • What structure, support, or rhythm would help me stay aligned and energised?
  • What does success look and feel like from here?
