Lead With Coaching 1-2-1 Coaching Programme
Powered by PQ
This agreement is between You (The Mentee) and Rachel Dungan MPSI MCC ACTC (The Pharmacist Coach).
In agreeing to coaching sessions, we commit to meeting at the agreed times and to making best use of the time
For coaching to work, it must meet the needs of both the coachee (you) and the coach (me). For this to happen, it is our job to co-create our relationship in a way that fosters mutual trust, respect, openness, and a willingness to share stories, insights, wisdom and curiosities with one another. Setting out the terms of engagement in advance is a great way to set ourselves up for success.
I look forward to deepen our work together with you with Positive Intelligence Mental Fitness tools. I am committed to coaching you to create and achieve your vision for your whole life, including your career. Together we will explore three core mental fitness skills:
- Recognise and Intercept your Saboteurs
- Cultivate Self-Command
- Lead from Sage
To support our work together, it is our job to co-create our relationship in a way that fosters mutual trust, respect, openness, and a willingness to share stories, insights, wisdom and curiosities with one another. Setting out the terms of engagement in advance is a great way to set ourselves up for Sage success.
There are three aspects to our mental fitness coaching.
- The first includes what I call the "inner work," - identifying the beliefs, habits and fears (Saboteurs) that are creating stress in your life and also those that have helped you to achieve the results that you are currently achieving (Sage). We will identify those which require 'an upgrade' in order to bring your life and career to the next level.
- The second aspect is what I call the "higher work," - You are the greatest expert on your own life. I will help you to get in touch with that expert, your own inner mentor (Sage). That part of you knows exactly what you want and gives you clues every day about what to do next. Working with your vision of what you want your work and your life to look like, we will use those clues to take actions that lead to extraordinary results.
- The third aspect is what I call the "outer work," - the strategies, tactics and actions that you take, which are aligned with where you want to go (Self-Command). Consistently taking actions which are aligned with your vision and goals makes progress sustainable while creating ever-growing levels of attractiveness.
By learning to pay closer and closer attention to your inner coach/mentor/Sage, your attention will be drawn to people, things and situations. Your intuition and trust in yourself will dramatically improve your decision-making, timing and results. Your work and your life then becomes ever more enjoyable - continuous treasure hunt with unlimited opportunities. This includes accelerating your ability for effortless success and having more of what you want in your life and clarity on how your career fits into that.
Having a clear Coaching Agreement establishes a foundation for our work together.
In agreeing to join the PQ Mental Fitness Programme, you commit to participating fully in the Content Modules, Debrief Conversations and Self-Command Exercises.
We commit to establishing a confidential and safe place in which we can explore issues and circumstances in pursuit of positive change and/or learning. My role is to facilitate this process. Your role as the client is to set the agenda topics and give feedback how well the sessions are addressing these topics.
The aim of the PQ Programme is to help you to develop and work towards the goals that we agree at the start of the process (or reset).
As your PQ coach, you can expect me to:
1. Be a partner in bringing out the best, the deepest, and the truest in you
2. Provide safety, encouragement, support and challenge; an environment in which you can relax, explore and be challenged
3. Respect the confidentiality of the agreements we make
4. Expand your view of what is possible and promote discovery of new insights
5. Give you input, straight feedback and operate as a sounding board for both your personal and professional endeavours
6. Listen carefully to what you say and ask questions that increase awareness
7. Be an on-going resource for you in accomplishing your intentions
8. Open, honest, supportive and non-judgmental
9. Conduct sessions from a quiet, private place without interruptions.
My philosophy is that your Sage has the capacity and the inner resources to approach your current life situation in a way that transforms your ability to have more of what you want and with considerably less effort.
I expect that you, as my client will:
- Cultivate a core honesty with yourself and be willing to explore your feelings, thoughts and behaviours
- Commit yourself to intentions that are truly meaningful and significant to you
- Be open to my feedback, and keep me honestly informed as to what is and is not working for you
- Take ownership for your progress and your accomplishments
- Engage fully in your coaching process, which includes prioritising your coaching sessions and Positive Intelligence Programme participation, completing your pre-session and post-session work and staying in the process, even when barriers and road-bumps appear.
- Take financial responsibility for your coaching time. If you are unable to give two days of notice for a missed appointment, you may receive your coaching via email exchange.
-
Open, honest, supportive and non-judgmental
-
Conduct sessions from a quiet, private place without interruptions.
THE OPTIMAL COACHING EXPERIENCE
Positive Intelligence Mental Fitness Programme:
During our work together, you will participate in the Positive Intelligence (PQ) Programme and PQ App, which includes access to the audio book, the weekly lesson content, the daily coach challenges and your PQ Gym. This practice and research validated programme is a proven path to develop the insights and habits that create peace of mind, productivity, positivity and happiness.
Schedule:
Once you start the PQ Mental Fitness Programme Intensive, the programme runs for 7 consecutive weeks, starting on Saturdays. The programme outline is detailed in the PQ resources.
One-to-one coaching sessions as agreed in our coaching agreement.
Procedure:
You will access your PQ Mental Fitness Programme Content on the PQ App. New content drops on Saturdays.
Private Client Access:
You will also have access to 4Front ABCDE™ resources in 4Front's private client portal to support your Mental Fitness Journey.
Preparation and Follow Up Processes:
During the PQ Intensive Programme, you will have the opportunity to log questions or queries in the 4Front ABCDE™ resources and PQ App.
Before each one-to-one session, I will send you a Session Preparation Form, called a 'Call Strategy Form'. Many people find this a helpful prompt to prepare for their session. After each session, I will send you a "post-session recap" form which you may use to enhance and anchor the benefits of your coaching. Many people find this creates a "journaling" of your success and help us to optimise our sessions. In between each coaching session you will have access to me via your Client Log tool so that you can celebrate progress or identify areas for discussion on our upcoming call.
Connection In Between Appointments:
In between regularly appointed coaching sessions, you will have access to me via email and a Client Log tool so that at any time you have questions, become stuck or care to share victories I am available to you.
On occasion, you may have an urgent question, request for feedback or want a confidential response to some situation where you don't want to wait for your next call. This is a "just in time coaching" where you can use the client log and mark it 'URGENT' to get a faster response. In an emergency, you could phone or text me directly.
Recording:
You may request that all/part of our sessions be recorded, for the purposes of coaching and reflective learning. In that case, you may request that those are recordings made accessible to you at the end of each session. If you would prefer that none of your sessions are recorded, you may also advise me accordingly. The recordings will be deleted at your request and/or once they have fulfilled this purpose. If either of us wants to share our session recording with anyone else (e.g. family member, mentor, supervisor etc), we will only do so, having first received the written consent of the other, pertaining to the restricted release of a particular session recording.
Boundaries:
You are open to discuss anything that might come up in the context of our sessions - be it of a personal, professional or business nature. If I, as your coach, ever say or do anything in a session that you don’t feel comfortable with or if you have any concern with the way we are working, please let me know as soon as possible. For our work together to be effective, it will rely upon you being honest and open in the best way we can.
Attendance and Time Keeping Norms:
You (the coachee) commit to call/meet with your coach at the pre-arranged time and place as scheduled. Furthermore, you commit to attend on time and for the entire session duration. You will inform your coach about any cancellations at least 72 hours prior to the scheduled conversation (excepting extreme circumstances which could not have been foreseen, in which case, update the Coach at the earliest possible opportunity)
Cancellation and Re-scheduling:
Appointments are typically scheduled >1 month in advance. Every effort will be made to reschedule a session which is cancelled > 1 week in advance. You should immediately re-book a replacement session in my calendar. Rescheduled appointments should remain within the same calendar month, unless agreed otherwise. Cancellation of appointments within 72hr of your scheduled appointment time may incur loss of the session, as it may not be possible to re-fill your time-slot at such short notice. For any unavoidable, short notice cancellations or lateness, we will use WhatsApp or Phone to contact one another. Repeated punctuality issues or non attendance by either coach or coachee will be addressed directly, as prioritising you, in your life is of the highest importance.
Confidentiality:
Both coachee and coach are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of the space in which they are conducting the session. Both coach and coachee recognise that anything shared is regarded as confidential, whether it is professional, business or personal information. Both coach and coachee undertake not to, at any time, either directly or indirectly, use or disclose any information shared in confidence, except within the scope any explicit agreement made. Email correspondence may be kept for up to 10 years.
Both coach and coachee undertake not to, at any time, either directly or indirectly, use or disclose any information shared with them during the session, for any purpose without EXPRESS permission, and within the scope of the Coaching Agreement e.g. minimum required information disclosed for the purposes of coach/mentor credentialing, if applicable.
Examples where the coach and coachee are not bound by confidentiality include:
(a) previously known to the coach or coachee prior to discussions regarding this Agreement, free from any obligation to keep it confidential, or
(b) publicly disclosed by the coach or coachee either prior to or subsequent to the receipt by the person of such information, or
(c) independently developed by the coach or coachee without any access to Confidential Information, or
(d) rightfully obtained by the coach or coachee from a third party lawfully in possession of Confidential Information who is not bound by confidentiality obligations to the coaching relationship.
Referrals and Reporting: There are three reasons where a coach might connect you with appropriate groups to make sure you get the right care or as required by law. These are:
- If you are at risk of harming yourself and/or others
- If there is child, elder adult or dependent adult abuse
- If there is a court subpoena. A coach cannot provide an "a priori" guarantee (meaning that a coach can be subpoenaed under the law and in such cases may be obligated to break confidentiality). In such cases, where reasonably practicable and to the extent legally permissible, the Coach provides the Coachee with prior written notice of the required disclosure.
- Maintaining confidentiality regarding issues raised during the session should not compromise either the coachee or coach with respect to the Code of Conduct for Pharmacists. If the coach or coachee feels that their duty of care to avoid harm to patients overrides the requirements for confidentiality than they may take appropriate steps, with the full knowledge of the other.

The International Coaching Federation (ICF) defines coaching as partnering with clients in a thought-provoking and creative process that inspires them to maximise their personal and professional potential. You can find out more about coaching by CLICKING HERE.
EMCC Definition of Coaching & Mentoring:
The European Mentoring and Coaching Council (EMCC) defines coaching and mentoring as a professionally guided process that inspires clients to maximise their personal and professional potential. It is a structured, purposeful and transformational process, helping clients to see and test alternative ways for improvement of competence, decision making and enhancement of quality of life. Coach and Mentor and client work together in a partnering relationship on strictly confidential terms. In this relationship, clients are experts on the content & decision making level; the coach & mentor is an expert in professionally guiding the process.
These definitions revolve around the premise that coachees possess the innate capacity to navigate their lives, solve problems, and achieve their goals. The coachee is seen as naturally creative, resourceful, and whole, capable of tapping into their own wisdom and potential to effect change and growth.
How is coaching distinct from other helping professions?
Coaching operates on the principle that the coachee is not broken and does not need to be fixed. Here's a further exploration of this unique premise and how it distinguishes coaching from other roles:
-
Client-Centred Approach: In coaching, the focus is entirely on the coachee's agenda, goals, and aspirations. The coach believes that the coachee holds the answers within themselves and empowers them to explore and unlock their potential through self-discovery and self-directed action. This contrasts with therapeutic approaches or medical model, where the therapist or healthcare professional may diagnose and treat disorders, medical conditions or emotional issues.
-
Non-Directive Support: Coaches adopt a predominantly non-directive approach, refraining from giving advice or solutions to the coachee's challenges. Instead, they ask powerful questions, actively listen, and provide observations to facilitate the coachee's own insights and solutions. This differs from consulting or mentoring, where the expert offers expert guidance and recommendations based on their knowledge and experience in a particular field.
-
Partnership and Collaboration: Coaching is a collaborative partnership between the coach and the coachee, based on mutual respect, trust, and confidentiality. The coach is the coachee's supportive ally, with expertise in holding a safe, non-judgemental space for the coachee to do their best thinking. The coachee is seen as the expert in their own life, their strengths, their weaknesses, their context, their aspirations and goals. This contrasts with hierarchical relationships often seen in traditional mentorship or leadership roles.
-
Focus on the Present and Future: While therapy often delves into past traumas to heal or resolve issues, coaching primarily focuses on the present moment and future-oriented goals. Coaches help coachees identify their desired outcomes, develop action plans, and overcome obstacles to progress. This forward-looking orientation distinguishes coaching from therapeutic or counselling interventions.
-
Emphasis on Accountability and Action: In coaching, there's a strong emphasis on personal response-ability, accountability and action. Coaches support coachees in setting meaningful goals, breaking them down into manageable steps, and empowering them to be accountable to themselves for taking consistent action towards their objectives. This contrasts with medical professionals who may focus more on diagnosis and prescribing treatment for medical conditions or consultants who provide solutions without enabling implementation.
Overall, the unique premise of coaching underscores the belief in the coachee's inherent capacity for growth and self-directed change. By viewing coachees as naturally creative, resourceful, and whole, coaches empower them to unlock their potential, overcome challenges, and achieve their aspirations in a supportive and collaborative partnership.
Nature of coaching:
While coaching is an empowering, developmental, growth-oriented leadership development style, which enables individuals and teams to build capabilities over time, it is not a panacea. The coach approach works best when voluntarily invested in and committed to over the medium to long term to create sustainable culture and behavioural change. It may not be the best approach in emergency or crisis situations, for non-voluntary conscripts or in cases of severe mental illness. Coaching services are not in any way to be construed as, or a replacement for, psychotherapy, legal counsel, or medical advice. As a coachee, you are responsible for creating your own decisions and results. You agree not to hold me, or any company I am affiliated with, liable for any outcomes resulting directly or indirectly from the coaching process. Coaching results are not guaranteed. As the coachee, you enter into the coaching with the full understanding that you are responsible for creating your own results.

ICF Definition of Super-Vision
Coaching super-vision is a collaborative learning practice that continually builds the capacity of the professional through reflective dialogue for the benefit of both the professional and their clients. In other words, its a process where professionals periodically bring their professional work experiences to a coaching super-visor. This engagement allows them to engage in reflective dialogue and collaborative learning, ultimately benefiting both the professional and their clients. ICF recognises super-vision as an important element of a professional's development, learning and growth.
THE SYSTEM OF MONEY
The financial investment for the stand-alone 8-week PQ Programme supported by coaching is €1995, paid as a single payment in advance of our first session. Payment may be made by Cash, Electronic Bank Transfer or PayPal.
If you prefer to pay in instalments, the total amount of the agreement is €2400. By availing of the 'instalment' option, you will make four payments of €600. The first instalment of €600 is due prior to enrollment on the PQ Programme. If this is your preferred option, please let me know, and I will send you out a PAY IN INSTALLMENTS Agreement. You agree to pay the amount agreed upon in this agreement and not to cancel this transaction with your bank or credit card company during the 6 month timeframe of our agreement.
Extension:
Achieving your personal, professional and prosperity goals is an ongoing process and requires ongoing commitment to generate consistent results. If you are not already an ABCDE™ Positive Leadership Academy Member, and are considering extending your coaching support beyond the 8-weeks programme, please let me know, and we can schedule a call to explore your situation, goals and outcomes.
Force Majeure:
If either of us is prevented from performing any of his/her obligations under this Agreement due to any cause beyond their reasonable control, including, without limitation, an act of God, fire, flood, explosion, war, strike, embargo, government regulation, civil or military authority, acts or omissions of carriers, transmitters, providers, vandals, or hackers (a "force majeure event") the time of our agreement will be extended for the period of the delay or inability to perform due to such occurrence; provided that you continue to pay any sums of money owed by you to 4Front Pharmacy.
Third Party Beneficiaries:
This Agreement is solely for the benefit of us and does not confer any rights or remedies on any other person or entity.
Governing Law:
This Agreement shall be interpreted according to the laws of Ireland, without regard to or application of choice-of-law rules or principles.
Termination:
In order to benefit from the PQ Mental Fitness Programme, it is necessary to install the PQ Operating Framework into your life. Neuroscience demonstrates this takes 8 weeks of intensive practice to achieve. Therefore, this PQ agreement is a 2 month non-refundable agreement for us both.
To continue to deepen your PQ Practice, after 8-weeks of intensive work, ongoing support is available through the ABCDE™ Positive Leadership Academy and the PQ App.
Guarantee:
This programme is about you taking positive action to develop a powerful foundation on which to simplify and manage your personal and professional life. If you participate fully, I have seen clients, over and over again achieve results that they had hardly dared to imagine possible only 6 months previously. I can share that I have not yet seen any client who commits fully to themselves, the coaching process and their goals and dreams not make significant progress towards their 10/10 life.
However, there is no guarantee I (or anyone else) can offer that this WILL happen for you, in this timeframe.
The only guarantee I can offer, is that if you do NOT
- prioritise yourself in your own life (intentionally creating regular time to have the mental space to discover and express your frustrations, needs, wants and desires in a confidential space e.g. coaching sessions),
- commit to moving towards your goals and dreams,
- commit to a strategy and process for achieving it (such as coaching and the Positive Intelligence Programme),
- have support (such as coaching) through the ups and downs of your journey towards your 10 out of 10 life,
- have a system in place to support you to follow through on your commitments to yourself (such as coaching),
at best, you will remain stuck in the status quo. At worst, sticking to old habits, beliefs and behaviours that are no longer serving you can cause a vicious downward spiral in health, wealth, relationships and/or happiness.
If you are ready to commit to fast-tracking the positive results you have already created in your career and life to date and intentionally create your 10/10 life, click "I Accept" below and you'll be prompted on how to get started.
By clicking accept, you indicate that you have read, understood and agree to abide by the above.
